AI & Innovation

8 definitions

AI-Native Platform

A platform designed from the ground up around artificial intelligence — not retrofitted onto existing systems. In Mexty, AI powers every layer of the experience: course generation, interactive and no-code block creation (including educational games and simulations), learning management (LMS), accessibility compliance checks, analytics, and personalization for each learner and creator.

AI Assistant

Mexty's built-in co-creator that helps you generate, structure, translate, and improve lessons while keeping them fully editable.

AI Prompt

A short command or question given to Mexty's AI to create or modify a lesson, quiz, or course. Example: "Create a 15-minute course on renewable energy for middle school."

AI Game Authoring

A process where a teacher creates a new block and simply types a topic or learning objective. Mexty's AI then automatically generates a fully playable educational game — complete with storyline, challenges, feedback, and rewards. This enables teachers to design interactive learning experiences in minutes, without coding or prior game design expertise.

Adaptive Course

A course that automatically adjusts difficulty, feedback, or sequence according to learner performance.

Adaptive Feedback

Real-time AI-generated hints or guidance based on learner answers or actions.

Data-Driven Feedback Loop

Mexty's analytics engine that captures engagement, progress, and success data to improve both teaching and AI recommendations.

Prompt Library

A curated collection of ready-to-use AI prompts that help educators generate faster and better content.

Mexty Experience & Platform Terms

15 definitions

Workspace

Your personal, institutional, or organizational space in Mexty where projects, assets, and lessons are created, stored, edited, and shared. It includes collaboration tools, version control, and analytics dashboards that help teams monitor creation activity and learner engagement.

Template

A ready-made structure for lessons, quizzes, or games that speeds creation and can be filtered by goal or subject.

Block

The fundamental building unit in Mexty's approach, where teachers, trainers, and learning designers can create interactive learning blocks without any coding skills. A Block represents a self-contained piece of learning content — such as a quiz, interactive activity, simulation, or 3D scene featuring models and avatars. Blocks can be created with AI for 2D activities or via Mext.app to design immersive 3D environments, and can be combined, sequenced, and customized to build complete lessons or multi-module courses.

Block Metadata

Descriptive information for each block — title, subject, duration, objectives, accessibility tags, and keywords — used for organization and SCORM/xAPI export.

Block Library

The catalog of all available block types (Quiz, Story, Simulation, 3D, Role-play, Assessment, etc.) used to assemble courses.

AI Editing (Chat Mode)

A conversational mode where educators collaborate with Mexty's AI using natural-language prompts such as "Simplify this explanation" or "Add an interactive question." The AI revises instantly while keeping user control. AI Editing consumes credits based on the generation or modification level.

Manual Editing (Classic Mode)

A traditional editing interface similar to Word or PowerPoint, allowing full manual typing, formatting, and layout control. Manual Editing is completely free and uses no credits.

Dual-Mode Authoring

Mexty's hybrid workflow that lets creators switch between AI Chat Mode and Manual Mode within the same project — generate with AI, refine manually.

Version History

A chronological record of all edits made to a block or lesson. Each version can be previewed, compared, or restored for collaboration and integrity.

Asset Library

Central repository of multimedia assets (images, icons, audio, 3D models, videos) reusable across projects.

Credits

Virtual units used in certain Mexty plans to generate AI-based content, translations, or images. AI-driven features consume credits; manual editing is free.

Marketplace

A curated digital marketplace where educators and creators can publish, share, or sell their Mexty-made courses, games, and templates. It connects creators with schools, training organizations, and institutions worldwide — fostering a secure, collaborative, and sustainable ecosystem for educational content.

Creator Profile

Public educator page showcasing published templates, courses, or games, enhancing professional visibility in the Mexty Community and Marketplace.

Enterprise Account

A scalable institutional plan for schools, universities, or organizations that required unlimited users, multi-site administration, team permissions, centralized analytics, and SSO access for seamless collaboration.

Support Center

Mexty's knowledge base, accessible through the Resources section, offering tutorials, FAQs, guides, and troubleshooting materials to help educators and administrators get the most out of the platform.
